Do I really need a wedding planner?

YES!!! Every Bride-to-Be needs, and deserves, a wedding planner. The consultants experience, combined with relationships with other local vendors will save the bride valuable time and money. Weddings can be stressful and expensive. Consultants can work together with preferred vendors to create the best event at a lower price point than the general public can. I can assure you that the savings provided by my services will be far greater than my fees.

I truly and honestly wish that I had a consultant when I was planning my own wedding. Wedding planning can be very stressful, especially while trying to also juggle your career, finances, a home, and perhaps children. My fiance and I often threatened to call it off and just elope. We didn't, but I can certainly help you to avoid those same feelings.

What does a Wedding Planner (also referred to as a Coordinator or Consultant) do?
Basically, I organize your wedding for you. I negotiate deals with vendors (usually 10-30% below market) deal with any concerns or complications, and help develop your time-line and budget. I also do Day of Coordination (DOC) which includes organizing the rehearsal, being the "go-to" contact for your vendors (so that they don't bug you) and doing all of the little extra stuff that your Maid-of-Honor would otherwise do, so that she (and you) can just enjoy the party. If you want to look at the "Weddings" tab on my website, it lists some typical packages.
